Not sure what the intent of the call was. But when answered, immediately the person (or robot) said "hello, I've got a part time opportunity I'd like to discuss with you" and then the call just ended abruptly! The caller sounded like they had a North Eastern accent, possibly Yorkshire area. But there was no introduction from the caller, just straight to an announcement of sorts!

The caller saying it is Emma Watson contacted me on whatsapp then called me though whatsapp saying that it was her but the voice would say something then there was a pause but not reply to what i said it would say something else. AI scam i think.

Caller sounded drunk. Asked for our son, who hasn't lived here for some years. Said he (caller) had done some work on our house 5-10 years ago (he hadn't), and asked if we wanted any other work done (we don't). Told us he was opening a shop on a particular road in our town (pretty sure he's not). Said he would give us a discount.

This number flashed across my computer screen and then disappeared without even a single ring! I have spam filters set so this is either a spam caller or someone who realised they had dialled the wrong number – who knows … my intuition is the former, not the latter.

I did not answer, they only called for perhaps 5 seconds, they did not leave a message. I therefore assume this was a nuisance call, telemarketing or scam
